Plastic Surgery for Two

We see plastic surgeons getting busy despite the economic issues today. There seems to be no slowing down for the cosmetic surgery industry. Yearly, thousands of people go under the knife to improve their appearance. And just recently, the newest trend recognized by plastic surgeons is not the rise in demand for facelifts or tummy tucks but for couples undergoing procedures together.

Is this the new “togetherness” activity that would become a hit among couples? Some years ago, wives keep their Botox sessions a secret to their husbands. These days, they arrive with their husbands in the clinic both seeking procedures of their own. They wanted to grow old together but they also desire to look young together.

The rise in plastic surgery for men has also been one of the fast rising trends today and this could have pushed couples to have their procedures done at the same time. Usually, they go for minimally invasive procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers and lasers go to this website. However there are also couples who undergo hours of cosmetic surgery for chin implants, tummy tuck or liposuction.

As more and more men embrace and undergo plastic surgery, plastic surgeons believe that husbands also want to keep in step with their wives who just keep looking youthful. Even Kenny Rogers underwent surgery because he felt pressured of his wife’s youthful appearance being 29 years younger than he.it only goes to show that men want to look as young as their wives.

Dr. Malcolm Z. Roth, president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), theorized that men want to look as young as their wives thus they end up coming to the surgeon’s office with her.  Ira and Roberta Almeas are among these couples who want to look young together as they grow old. They had botox and some minimally invasive treatments so that one will look as good the other.
