Plastic Surgery for Two

We see plastic surgeons getting busy despite the economic issues today. There seems to be no slowing down for the cosmetic surgery industry. Yearly, thousands of people go under the knife to improve their appearance. And just recently, the newest trend recognized by plastic surgeons is not the rise in demand for facelifts or tummy tucks but for couples undergoing procedures together.

Is this the new “togetherness” activity that would become a hit among couples? Some years ago, wives keep their Botox sessions a secret to their husbands. These days, they arrive with their husbands in the clinic both seeking procedures of their own. They wanted to grow old together but they also desire to look young together.

The rise in plastic surgery for men has also been one of the fast rising trends today and this could have pushed couples to have their procedures done at the same time. Usually, they go for minimally invasive procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers and lasers go to this website. However there are also couples who undergo hours of cosmetic surgery for chin implants, tummy tuck or liposuction.

As more and more men embrace and undergo plastic surgery, plastic surgeons believe that husbands also want to keep in step with their wives who just keep looking youthful. Even Kenny Rogers underwent surgery because he felt pressured of his wife’s youthful appearance being 29 years younger than he.it only goes to show that men want to look as young as their wives.

Dr. Malcolm Z. Roth, president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), theorized that men want to look as young as their wives thus they end up coming to the surgeon’s office with her.  Ira and Roberta Almeas are among these couples who want to look young together as they grow old. They had botox and some minimally invasive treatments so that one will look as good the other.

Venezuelan School for Beauty Queens

Why and how does Venezuela manages to bring home the crown of Miss Universe repeatedly? We cannot deny that Venezuelan women are one of the most beautiful in the world. They seem to be always among the top picks for international beauty pageants. You must be wondering about the training and workshop they go through in order to become the country’s contender.

In Venezuela, preparations for beauty pageants start early. By “early” we mean as early as 4 years old, they are going to schools for beauty queens where they learn how to apply the right makeup and stroll down gracefully on the catwalk. They are taught how to maintain their poise and acquire good catwalk skills inside completely mirrored rooms.

A class in one of Venezuela’s most successful beauty schools, Gisselle’s, the majority of the attending pupils is between the ages 4 to 11. It only implies that parents recognize the beauty pageant phenomenon in their country and want to make sure that their kids are on their way to stardom. They encourage their daughters maybe because beauty queens also become celebrities and public figures.

Aside from training them to walk right, the students are also criticized by their peers as they walk one by one on the wooden runway. They offer their opinions on the general demeanor of the person whose turn it is to traipse down the catwalk. This is how they instill the ability to take criticisms lightly which is a must in the beauty business.

Girls spend hours for training and some even have to go to the gym if they are really aiming for the national competition. They have to watch what they eat and maintain their voluptuous figures. For some, plastic surgery is one of the things they consider click here. Dental work is also necessary to become successful in the national pageant.

Beauty contests are regarded as commonplace in Venezuela. Their acceptance for these competitions is largely because of their culture where men should be brave and strong and women, delicate and gentle. Such beauty schools only show that there is high regard for beauty in this country and that could be observed with the times they won the  Miss Universe and Miss World titles.
